- Code automatic takeoff, movement, & flips
- Program flight paths to navigate obstacle runs
- Complete team-based autonomous flight missions
Day 3: Mighty Micros!
Build circuits, connect sensors, and use code to make lights, sounds, and alarms come to life. Campers will experiment with real electronic components and see how their code can control things in the real world.
Primary Track
Ages 5–8 • Snap Circuits & LightExplore electricity with snap circuits, LED projects, and light-up gadgets.
- Build working circuits with snap-together parts

Advanced Track
Ages 9+ • Micro:bit & SensorsUse code, sensors, and real electronic components to build working projects, including a motion-activated alarm.
Optional micro:bit take-home kit: +$45. Included with the Advanced six-day Winter Pass.
- Connect real electronic components to bring circuits to life
- Program light displays, sound effects, & sensors
- Code a working motion-activated security alarm
Day 4: Radical Robots!
Build a robot. Test it. Improve it. Then battle it. Campers will learn how their robot moves, make adjustments to their build, and put their creation to the test in fun arena challenges.
Primary Track
Ages 5–8 • Motorized RoboticsConstruct motorized rovers, test gear setups, and compete in fun robot push challenges.
- Assemble motorized robotic rovers & structures
- Make adjustments to improve how your robot moves
- Test your bot in friendly sumo pushing matches
Advanced Track
Ages 9+ • Smart Combat BotsBuild and program combat robots with motors and sensors to compete in arena battles.
- Build and customize your robot
- Program how your robot moves and reacts
- Improve your design between arena matches
Day 5: Junior Inventors & Crazy Computer Builds
Primary Track
Ages 5–8 • Junior Inventors: Maker LabBig ideas start with little inventors! Get creative and become a real inventor! Campers will use LEGO, K'NEX building sets, gears, wheels, and other engineering materials to design and build their own inventions.
- Build Moving Machines: Use LEGO and K'NEX pieces, gears, wheels, and connectors to create vehicles and simple machines.
- Engineering Challenges: Construct bridges, towers, and marble runs while exploring balance, motion, and structural design.
- Inventor's Challenge: Dream up your own invention, build a working model, and test it against a fun challenge!
Advanced Track
Ages 9+ • Full Assembly & Take-Home PCWork with real computer parts, learn what the major components do, and build a fully functional desktop computer. Campers get hands-on experience in our repair shop lab and get to take their complete computer build home at the end of the day!
- Learn how computer components fit together and assemble a full desktop
- Install power supplies, drives, cabling, and RAM
- Configure system settings & boot Windows
Day 6: Rocket Science!
Get ready for an exciting day of rocket science! Campers will become aerospace engineers as they design, build, and launch their own rockets. Using hands-on experiments and real engineering techniques, kids will explore how rockets fly and discover what it takes to create a successful launch.
Primary Track
Ages 5–8 • Junior Rocket EngineersBlast off into the world of rocket science! Young engineers will build their own rockets using lightweight materials, experiment with different designs, and launch them using air-powered rocket launchers.
- Build Your Rocket: Use foam, paper, cardboard, and craft materials to create rockets with custom fins and nose cones.
- Launch & Experiment: Use stomp-powered rocket launchers to test how rocket shapes and launch angles affect flight.
- Rocket Challenges: Measure flight distances, improve your designs, and compete in fun accuracy and distance challenges.
Advanced Track
Ages 9+ • Aerospace EngineeringTake rocket engineering to the next level! Campers will design and construct their own rockets while exploring aerodynamics, propulsion, and flight stability. Using air-powered launch systems and real flight measurements, they'll work like aerospace engineers to improve their designs.
- Design & Engineer: Construct rockets using lightweight body tubes, custom fins, and nose cones while learning how each component affects flight.
- Launch & Collect Data: Use air-powered rocket launchers, measuring tools, and flight logs to test launch angles, distance, and stability.
- Optimize Your Rocket: Analyze flight results, make engineering improvements, and compete in a final rocket launch challenge!
