GenTech: More Than a Computer Repair Shop

At GenTech, we’re more than just a computer repair shop — we’re a tech hub dedicated to educational tech services. We offer cutting-edge coding, robotics, and design programs with our hands-on curriculum for children and teens and offer unparalleled Tech Services for adults. We’re also fun, smart, friendly, kind, fun, innovative, inventive, and (did we mention) fun!

Our signature service is personal tech support where you will receive individual attention for your tech questions. Hardware repair, computer optimization, virus removal, virtual and home services, networking and dozens of services are provided by our friendly GenTechs!

For younger generations, our KidsTech program teaches industry standard coding (which is super important for the future), radical robotics and computer science throughout the school year and fun summer programs.

Most importantly, at GenTech, we’re here for you. We strive to be your neighborhood tech hub. We may not be able to offer you a cup of sugar, but all of our amazing GenTechs are ready to help you with your tech. From helping you sync your devices, set up your printer, or scrub your harddrives clean of viruses, our door is always open. Well, open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, that is.

We Offer Personal Tech Sessions

Our techs can help you no matter what device you’re having trouble with. We offer one-on-one personal tech sessions in our store or virtually. You can bring us all of your tech questions and devices you need help with. With us, you’ll be in good hands. We walk you through every step to ensure you understand the process!  

We’ll help you with any tech concern too — whether it’s syncing your phone to your television or setting up in-home cameras, we’re the ones to call.

Computer Repair Shop Services

Of course, we are a computer repair shop too. We do offer tech services to tune up your computer or device. If your computer is running slow or if you suspect you have a virus on it, bring it in! Our techs will check it in, explore everything inside your machine and perform a diagnostic analysis to find and repair your tech. 

Once we’ve looked under the hood, we’ll call and tell you exactly what it will take to get your device up and running with full optimization. If it’s a fix you can do at home, we’ll walk you through it so you’ll be ready if it happens again too! That’s what makes us different from other computer repair shops — we empower you to repair your devices so you don’t need us again.

Home Computer Repairs

We also come to you in person or virtually — whatever you’re comfortable with, we’re here for you! If your desktop computer or printer is giving you issues, you don’t have to worry about loading it up into your car. Give us a call and we’ll send a technician out to your home. 

We’ll get you up and running, informed, wired or connected as your tech needs require. We also go over all the steps so you understand how everything works.

KidsTech

Our KidsTech curriculum is hands-on and interactive to make it engaging and fun for children and teenagers. From coding to design, we teach it all and walk your child through how to do it! Prepare your kids for the future by letting them learn super skills that are crazy fun.

KidsTech is individualized for each attendee, from beginners to advanced techies. Students experience great challenges with a ton of good times packed into each camp that feature a strong focus on industry standard  programming proficiencies including Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Lua. 

KidsTech is an amazing after school program that is flexible to fit most schedules! You can come in on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays anytime from 3-6 p.m. Or if a weekend works better, you can roll in on Saturday sessions from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Our block schedule lets you choose the modules you want to attend when you want to tech out!
